Torvald and I

In this one act play, Chrisler attempts repeatedly to redress the negative perceptions Ibsen’s infamous subjugating husband has been burdened with by rewriting the last scene of A Doll’s House. To accomplish this he sets up many rules, all of which–from no birds, to no nudity, to no personal anecdotes–come to splendid ruin.
